Where each sector clusters

14 of the 33 Crypto companies on London Mempool are in City & Bank, the highest share in one neighbourhood of any sector with 20 or more.

This note takes the 6 sectors with 20 or more of the 759 companies on the map (AI, Fintech, Crypto, Deeptech, Health and Climate) and finds the neighbourhood where each one has the most companies.

Shoreditch & Old Street is the top area for AI (44 of 177), Fintech (41 of 195), Deeptech (5 of 28), Health (11 of 87) and Climate (17 of 74). City & Bank is the top area for Crypto (14 of 33).

The most concentrated is Crypto: 14 of its 33 companies (42%) are in City & Bank, against 85 of all 759 companies on the map (11%).

84 of the 759 companies sit outside the named neighbourhoods. Of these 6 sectors, Deeptech is the most often outside them, with 9 of 28 (32%), and Crypto the least, with 1 of 33 (3%).
